May 1, 2010 - Founders' Day Celebration
The Pen Is Mightier Than The Sword!
This May, Pine Cobble will celebrate its 73rd year of educational excellence with a writing-themed party. We are in the middle of a three-year, "3 R's" celebration - last year's theme was reading, this year is writing, and next year will be 'rithmetic!
Come join us for a cocktail and hors d'oeuvres party in Cluett House, Saturday evening, May 1st. There will be an exciting auction, a showcase of writing at Pine Cobble, great music and wonderful company.
Silent auction begins at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets $30/person
Formal invitations will be sent out in early April.

November 28, 2009 - Alumni/ae Field Hockey and Soccer Games
Friday's heavy rains caused wet fields for our fearless alumni-ae and current students in our annual alumni-ae field hockey and soccer games. The cold temperatures and wet conditions may have deterred some loyal attendees, but we had over 40 people at 163 Gale Road for some fun competition and delicous soup and sweets after the game.
Both games were tightly contested. Field hockey was back and forth, ending in a 3-2 victory for team Wilson - Dr. Wilson - parent of Logan '09 and Molly '13 - was one of our fealess goalies, while Steve Swoap - parent of Katie '09 and Rachel '11 - was the other. It seemed fitting to name each team after their fabulous goalkeepers. Soccer participants were small in number but in true Pine Cobble fashion they all made the most of the day.
Great fun was had by all. Our parents and students provided homemade soup, bread and sweets for the post game. It was a real community effort. Please consider joining us in 2010 - it is a real feel-good Pine Cobble day.
