Science
The main goals of the Early Childhood science program are to have the children exploring, asking questions about what they find, and making observations to answer their questions. The format is a mix of teacher led introduction and demonstration of materials and concepts, including explorations and experiences, and group discussions. The content includes: color, texture, temperature, local plant life cycles and identification, local animal behavior and identification, wind, magnets, bubbles, water and sand, the human body, seasons, insects, particularly ants and the life cycle of butterflies. This program is all about hands-on discovery.
