Mathematics

The core of our curriculum is traditional but our teaching methods are innovative. As technology opens new doors to learning, our teachers stay current, challenging students to learn new subjects and in new ways. Language arts, math and social studies are taught by homeroom teachers using not just textbooks but software, media and hands-on exercises. Kindergarten through fifth grade use a University of Chicago sequential math curriculum, highlighting problem-solving, hands-on learning, games, cooperative learning, and a home-and-school partnership in studying.
