Social Studies
Our social studies units revolve around understanding ourselves and our world. At each grade level, students anticipate exciting interdisciplinary projects, such as the fourth grade Endangered Species presentations or the fifth grade yearlong biographies, culminating in speeches and performances. Shorter units - an archaeological dig, creation of a cave and weaving of period clothing - inspire students to be enthusiastic about learning.
