8th Grade - Algebra
Algebra One is a yearlong course that
picks up where PreAlgebra left off. Skills developed in previous math classes will be reinforced, including solving single-variable equations, graphing, the coordinate plane, and the use
of formulas. Major new topics will
include factoring, rational expressions, the quadratic formula, and systems of
equations.
Concepts
are explored through class exercises, individual and group activities, technology,
