Welcome to Pine Cobble School’s website. Our unofficial motto is “a good beginning never ends,” and I could not encapsulate into words more succinctly my belief in the strength and value of an independent school education. Small class size, extraordinary faculty, informed and involved parents, hard-working and inspiring administrators, and supportive Board members are the key elements to building a foundation for success. At Pine Cobble, all those elements are present and make each child’s experience academically rich, loving in tone, and part of an excellent preparation for the future.

There is a caring atmosphere of excellence that defines Pine Cobble School. We provide an environment that cherishes success, stresses excellence within balance, and cares for the individual child as he or she grows. Our School celebrates the merits of the entire Beginners through Ninth Grade experience. Across the spectrum of grades, Pine Cobble gives our children opportunities to shine that they might not have in a larger arena. Not only do they learn about the sense of responsibility inherent in a small school, but they are allowed to emerge as leaders in student government, athletics, and on the stage, as they experience and learn with so much greater adult attention placed on them, and with so much more to gain.
