We don’t hear about a fifty-eight year career too often in any field. To devote fifty-eight years to opening young minds to the love of learning and to help provide a loving, safe, enriching environment for three and four-year-old children in their first experience away from home is an extraordinary feat. Carolyn Lehmann was honored Saturday, May 3rd, on the Pine Cobble campus. From precious songs sung by the children, to moving words by colleagues, to spot on humor by a current parent, to genuine emotion by alumni, Carolyn felt the love that the all people in this community have for her. She shared the two hours with all of her fans in her usual style – classy. She left the evening beaming. It was a night to remember in Pine Cobble history – a special place honoring a timeless woman who exudes elegance. While we do get to see her once a month on campus, we do miss her smiling face each morning. We love you Mrs. Lehmann!
To All Alumni/ae
With 70 years of history, we have 1500 alumni/ae around the country and the world. Pine Cobble prides itself on the bonds we build between all members of our community. We are making great strides in connecting with our alumni/ae. Each year we have Alumni/ae Field Hockey and Soccer games over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, and in May, a Founders’ Day celebration. Come and get reconnected with classmates.
Many ask what they can do to help as alums:
- Volunteer to serve as a class agent; be a communications link between Pine Cobble and your classmates! Click here to see a list of the current class agents. Contact us today if you want to be a class agent in the future.
- Fundraising for Pine Cobble helps the School educate current students and is a way to show your appreciation for the special value of your Pine Cobble education.
- Attend alumni events; the greater the turn-out, the more fun each event will be.
