We don’t hear about a fifty-eight year career too often in any field. To devote fifty-eight years to opening young minds to the love of learning and to help provide a loving, safe, enriching environment for three and four-year-old children in their first experience away from home is an extraordinary feat. Carolyn Lehmann was honored Saturday, May 3rd, on the Pine Cobble campus. From precious songs sung by the children, to moving words by colleagues, to spot on humor by a current parent, to genuine emotion by alumni, Carolyn felt the love that the all people in this community have for her. She shared the two hours with all of her fans in her usual style – classy. She left the evening beaming. It was a night to remember in Pine Cobble history – a special place honoring a timeless woman who exudes elegance. While we do get to see her once a month on campus, we do miss her smiling face each morning. We love you Mrs. Lehmann!
