Welcome to the 2010-2011 Annual Fund Drive!

The Annual Fund is the heart and soul of fund raising at Pine Cobble, and if you look, you can see the positive impact your gift makes throughout our campus. Annual Fund dollars support our dynamic faculty, a beautiful and well-maintained campus, and stellar academic and co-curricular resources.

Last year we reached and surpassed our ambitious Annual Fund goal of $125,000. We had parents, faculty participation numbers over 90% – the largest in our school’s history. For 2010-2011 we have set our goal at $135,000 and need everyone’s help to reach that ambitious number.

A gift to the Annual Fund supports the day-to-day operating expenses of the School and strengthens our entire program. Pine Cobble, like every other private educational institution, has a budget gap. That gap is the difference between what a family pays to send a child to Pine Cobble and what it actually costs to educate that child. For Pine Cobble the budget gap is $1500 and it is the Annual Fund that closes that gap. We need to meet and even exceed our Annual Fund goal each year in order to continue to be a leader in elementary and middle school education.

Specifically the Annual Fund helps to:

  • Keep classes small with an outstanding faculty
  • Offer programs like music, drama, art, and athletics
  • Keep a socio-economically diverse student body by offering financial aid
  • Offer foreign languages from beginners – 9th grade
  • Provide the necessary equipment and materials for the maintenance of the buildings and grounds

We want all of our constituents to understand that every dollar counts in the lives of our students. No gift is too small. Please join the team effort. Our mission is important, and we thank you for your support.

If you have any questions or would like to join our effort as a class agent, please contact our development office at 413-458-4680.
